Staring into glowing embers beneath a canopy of stars has a way of moving
a man’s soul beyond the mundane and onto the ultimate issues of life. Even
the most tight-lipped male may find himself steeped in discussion deep
into the night. Last fall on the banks of
Colorado’s Gunnison River, a campfire threw shadows on the red sandstone
cliffs. None needed prodding as each father looked into the eyes of his
son and spoke affirmation and blessing. The words were different for each,

Book! Men's Ministry in the 21st Century: The Encyclopedia of
Practical Ideas
Gentry is honored to be one of the contributing authors for a new book aimed at
helping churches develop a vibrant ministry to men. His chapter on
building a leadership team provides a structured approach along with
practical resources to recruit and equip the layman within a
local church who will in turn form and lead collaborative teams as the
backbone of men's ministry.

National Coalition of Men's Ministry - Drama at Leadership
Conference
A powerful drama on the impact of ministry to men was presented
at the NCMM Leader's Meeting on April 22, 2003 at Glen Eyrie Castle.
A copy of the script, titled "Impact", may be obtained at MustardWorks
(a drama service ministry for churches).
Passage to Manhood
Do you have a teenage son? Have you ever wondered what it takes
to help him successfully transition from a boy to a man? What are
the important Biblical principals that our teenagers need to master to
make that transition in today's culture? Sure Passage is a local
nonprofit ministry that is partnering with churches to offer "Passage
to Manhood" workshops.
