Gentry's Work Experience

Gentry began his career as a computer programmer with a PC start-up company in Southern California.  He later worked as a software engineer and engineering project manager for the aerospace company Rockwell/Boeing for six years. 

In 1990, Gentry joined Telos, a national technical services firm, and became the Rocky Mountain regional manager, responsible for business development and operations. 

Beginning in 1995, he worked as an engineering manager with Mission Research Corporation, a systems integration company, while building a part-time consulting practice. 

Serving Christian organizations full-time since February 1999:

Sure Passage, a transition assistance ministry.

Advisor to VisionQuest Alliance, a group of mission sending agencies who share systems and services.

Previous ministry clients include Wycliffe, Young Life, Samaritan’s Purse, The Christian and Missionary Alliance, The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM), OMS International, International Students, and Greater Europe Mission.
